Rivertex teams up with Root Sustainability to go greener

Rivertex is always looking for ways to improve our products and the way we do business, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. That's why we're excited to kick off a pilot project in partnership with Root Sustainability, a Dutch company at the forefront of environmental assessment innovation.
This pilot project is centred around calculating the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of our products. The LCA is a way to measure the environmental impacts of our products from start to finish. By understanding this, we can make them more sustainable.
Root Sustainability's tool is designed for a step-by-step implementation, allowing us to start enhancing our processes right away with the initial data. This approach means we can continually refine and improve our sustainability efforts as more information becomes available. It's a strategy that ensures ongoing progress toward being more eco-friendly.

The first fabrics we will be examining are Rivercyclon® ranges. Rivercyclon® was developed as a sustainable alternative to PVC coated fabrics. It is 100% recyclable, 40% lighter and free of toxins. A detailed LCA by Root Sustainability will help us understand and improve Rivercyclon’s environmental impact even further and help us in our commitment to make fabrics more sustainability by reducing their environmental footprint.
